Hi

Clarity are a pain in the **** IMO. You do not have to send any DCA or creditor your income and expenditure, only a court can request this. Your income is nil anyway for their purposes.

If you wish to make a payment offer what you can afford saying that you have looked at your outgoings and only afford XX. If you have no income tell them that you cannot offer payment until your circumstances improve.

Are you sure that you owe the full amount? Have you requested a breakdown of charges, interest etc?

Please support CAG and they will support you.

The choice is yours, however it will clearly go in your favour to fill out YOUR OWN I&E form and send them, you can get one off here or from here:http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/budget_sheet.php?country=england_wales

As you rightly say, it is YOUR O/D, not your OH's, so I would simply put down your I&E, I don't see how you can possibly afford to pay them more than £1 a month, esp if your out of work and relying on your OH.

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!
